Winter Practice takes us to the courts of Bishop Franklin High School. The girls’ varsity team is preparing for their practice, but are resigned to practice outside in the winter’s cold, as the gym is being occupied by the boys’ varsity team. To be game ready, the girls play scrimmage a match with second string freshmen and disgraced varsity players. They prove that girls are relentless, and prove that they can be just as good as boys on the court. Affleck delivers a fast-paced story that leaves you on the edge of your seat as the girls take on the boys.
