Originally from Kentucky, where he earned a Masters in Literature from the University of Kentucky. Now a librarian in Arvada, Colorado. Second novel, The Survivors, was a finalist for the 2013 Lambda Literary Award. Latest novel, Lord Byron's Prophecy, was a finalist for the Colorado Book Award and the Shirley Jackson Award. Enjoys bar trivia and golf.
