Abby is only six years old when she is involved in a car accident while her mother is driving. She is convinced in the after math of the crash that her soul was sent to hell for exactly one hour, but her account of the incident is very different from what her mother shares with the public. After interviews and a book, Abby’s dad takes full custody of her to save the sweet girl from the poisonous lies of her mother. He wants Abby to understand that she is an innocent child who could never be sent to hell, but the day Abby finally shares her true story with her father is the moment he begins to question his own beliefs about the afterlife.
