It’s been a decade since Bernt left the family ranch in Utah, putting as much distance as possible between him and his father. Now that his father is dead and there’s a will to deal with, Bernt decides to negate the man’s warning for him never to return. Yet, the nearer he gets, the less his surroundings make sense, and he finds himself haunted by the memory of the last day he’d ever been in Utah.
