An unnamed pulp fiction writer dares to share her manuscripts in a time when women were not accepted as authors. With the help of her companion Jake, she is able to find a job writing about a new idea she names Industrivisim. Jake has secrets of his own, and he shares no information about the man who has employed the pulp writer. When the individual funding her project wants a meeting, the writer has no choice but to reveal her gender. The mysterious man accepts her for who she is, but will she accept him when he reveals his shocking identity?
