Mr Hill owns a sunflower yellow convertible. Just like the one Emily shows in her Tone presentation to show 'Tragedy'. Mr Hill doesn't think he's noble enough to be a tragic hero, but he does have a flaw: obsession. The more he watches the clip of the wreck, the more convinced he is that it's his car. He thinks selling it will solve all his problems, but that's just the start of them.

S. L. Gilbow is a science fiction and fantasy writer whose short stories have appeared in The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, Lightspeed Magazine, The Dark Magazine, and the John Joseph Adams anthologies Federations and Brave New Worlds. His short story “Mr. Hill’s Death” was selected for The Years Best Dark Fantasy and Horror: 2015. A 2011 graduate of Clarion West Writers Workshop, Gilbow is a retired lieutenant colonel and navigator with twenty-six years of Air Force service and over 2000 flying hours in the B-52. He currently teaches English at Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton, Virginia.
