There is something peculiar about his new friend, Smokey, but he gives him the benefit of the doubt. After all, everyone has their quirks, and his own life is far from perfect. Yet, as time goes by, he grows weary of the mood swings, the conspiracy theories, and the obsession with fire. When it all becomes too much, he has no choice but to break ties. It soon becomes apparent, however, that Smokey isn’t ready to let go – and, perhaps, never will.
