As she sits at her kitchen table, Aileen tells of her first marriage: soft, pink, quick. A man as soft as brown buttercake. She's had others, but says there's nothing to love about a man that'd make her want to commit her whole life to one, thinking again to that strawberry buttercream, that definition of love.
